Why some angels chose Satan and the greatest battle in Heaven

The story of how Satan enticed angels to follow him
Precious rocks and gems covered the surface of a myriad of stars God prepared for angels to enjoy. There were too many places in the Heavens to ever get bored. Earth was one of those planets of beauty composed of crystals, gems, and rocks in a rainbow of colors, textures and shapes. Songs, praise and joy filled the heavens. God created the angels for fellowship to admire and reflect the love and traits of their maker.
In the north side of Heaven laid the Mountain of God. Angels assembled there at times for praise, worship and teaching from God. Each group of angels had different interests and service for the other angels and God. Seraphim, Cherubim, Thrones, Dominions, Virtues, Powers, Principalities and Archangels are ones scripture mentions. The angels with the most authority, called archangels, entered the throne room over the burning stones to obtain God’s instructions. These archangels named Lucifer, Michael, Gabriel and Raphael, then flew throughout the heavens guiding those under their command.
After a period of time in the heaven, Lucifer lusted for the honor, glory and worship God received. Having the opportunity to speak and give orders to other angels when away from the Mountain of God, his arrogance rose. He thought he could be God and rule all the angels. After one meeting with God, Lucifer requested the higher-ranking angels to join him on a planet whose surface was lined with peculiar shaped, precious stones.
“Have you become tired of the rules of God as I? If I were He, I would allow you to explore the far extremities of the forbidden places in the Heavens. You could enjoy the strange winds and lights as I have. You would be delighted to learn the power of special magic one can make with gems and crystals you are not allowed to touch.”
“But He is the one that created us and has only shown love and devotion to us,” the archangel Michael responded.
Satan then reached into his robe and pulled out stones resembling a maroon and red cloud. Rubbing the two rocks together, a fiery orange color rose. Setting this beneath the black stones a strange, pleasant odor filled the air. Soon angels nearby felt a sense of happiness never felt before.
“Just think what awaits us if we ruled the heavens,” he said. “There are incredible powers God will not let you see.”

“I can’t dethrone God by myself. For us to control the majestic heavens I need you to join me as fellow warriors. Will you take what god will not let us have?”
“How can you defeat the one who made you?” Gabriel asked. Many higher ranked angels, against Lucifer’s plan, flew back to where they resided near the Mountain of God.
“The strongest of you have remained with me,” Satan said. One third of the angels chose Lucifer, now called Satan. Flying toward the Mountain of God in revolt against God Satan paused his angelic army in midair. He left his army flying to speak to God. Walking through the columnar entry in the Holy Temple, over the fiery rocks, he approached a God of light waiting for him on the throne.
“I know why you are here Lucifer,” God said. “
“Why have you forbidden us to know about the mixture of rocks?”
“You have been given most of the heavens to explore, but not all or to do certain things on them until an appointed time. You have shared trusted knowledge to others not ready for the power it reveals. You have rebelled and sinned against me.”
God’s perfect essence, attributes and holiness cannot allow sin to occur or remain in the third Heaven, the highest part including the Assembly of the Saints and the Mountain of God.
With a face of hate and clinched fists Satan turned and left. Returning to the angels who sided with him, they lined up in attack formation.
“You will soon learn of the knowledge on forbidden planets and freedom to do as you like in Heaven. Nothing will be withheld from you anymore,” Satan announced as they flew to overthrow God near His mountain.
Two thirds of the angels, now called elect angels, lined up in formation facing Satan’s rebelling angels in the air. Waiting for God’s guidance they sung in unison. God appeared, flew out in front and gave out a shout. Satan and his angel’s tense bodies ready for attack, floated lifeless. Following the archangel Michael, the elect angels grabbed the weakened Satan and his fallen angels, flew them out of the third Heaven and released them into the second heaven among the stars and galaxies we see today. Never would any fallen angel be able to return to the third heaven, except Satan.
